Visa for America - The Easy Way to Get (STEP BY STEP GUIDE)

A US tourist visa is considered one of the more difficult to obtain if you are from BiH or Serbia. However, in this text, I will walk you through each step by step and show you how I managed to get it easily. Also, I will share some helpful tips that are not talked about much, which I received from the Work and Travel experience agency from Banja Luka, which annually sends over 500 students to work in the summer in America. These are first-hand tips that I really think can benefit you a lot when filling out an application and talking at the embassy.
Just follow what is written and you do not have to worry.

5 +1 steps on how to get a tourist visa for America

Before Step - Take a 5 × 5 photo
The first thing you need to get started with is a visa application, it can't fill your application without it. Do not attempt to make this photo yourself, as there are strictly defined rules for how it should look. I will write more about this below. Go to any professional studio in your city and tell them you need a photo for your visa. Australia Tourist Visa

Visa for America - The Easy Way to Get (STEP BY STEP GUIDE)

Step 1 - Complete the online application (DS 160 form)

The first thing you need to do is fill out the DS 160 form. Open this address and create your account. It only takes 10 to 20 minutes to complete the entire application. Just keep in mind that the system is set up so you have relatively little time to fill each side, and will often inform you that you have 60 seconds left. At least that's what happened to us.
They will ask you to provide basic things like some personal information, your current and past occupations, the people you are traveling with, family in America, previous visits to America (if any), countries you have visited, reasons why you are traveling to America and the like and similarly.
You are filling out the application in English.

Important Notice

After you are done, you will receive a confirmation on the email that you have to carry the interview form. This is a must. To me, this was the only document I was asked for at the embassy with my passport.
I bring photos from exotic destinations around the world to my Instagram profile every day. Click on the link to accompany me.
Step 2 - Pay the processing fee and schedule your visa appointment
The visa fee is paid through the Official Visa Service of the United States of America. Click on this link for the correct address. Card payment is possible as well as the account. The visa is $ 160 and the money is non-refundable, whether you get it or not.
Once you've paid the fee, the next step is to schedule an appointment. Dates are scheduled for 15 minutes each, and usually more people will be present during the same term. My first vacancy was 7 days from the date of payment of the fee, but your first appointment maybe 2-3 days. It all depends on the season when you schedule an interview.

Which type of visa to choose?

Visas for America are split into multiple visas, and it is sometimes unclear as to which of them applies. For tourist visas, you choose option B1, and for business B2. If you only need a transit visa you choose a C-visa, for students, an F-1 is required, a student visa, for a journalist an I visa, and for seasonal workers the H-2B visa.
Once you have selected the type of visa you are applying for, choose that your passport will be delivered via DHL.
Step 3 - Save the required documentation for your US visa
The required documentation that you must have with you is essentially just a few documents:
Valid passport, valid for at least six months after the visa expires.
1 photo measuring 5 × 5 cm, taken in the last six months. More details on how the photo should look can be found here.
Form DS-160 completed

A printed page with intrusions from the site

Married people need a marriage certificate, student students need to bring a student's booklet/index, and employed people have a certificate of permanent employment.
And more or less this is it. Basic Things You Must Have.
However, in the instructions you will receive, they will say that they may ask you for some more documents, that is, they may ask you the following things;
What do you do (how long have you been employed if you work, previous jobs, type of work)

To explain the purpose of your trip (they will certainly ask you why you are going to America)

How long will you stay

Do you have the money to pay for the cost of the trip

If you cannot cover the cost of the trip, you can provide the name of the person who will cover all or part of the trip

Step 4 - Talk for a visa and what to expect
After you've scheduled the interview, after a few days, you'll be at the embassy. Breathe deeply. No stress. This is just a conversation like any other. Nothing special. I advise you to come to the embassy some 15 minutes early where you will be waited by a police officer who will ask for your name and bring you into the building soon.
